I look after all of our property safety and compliance issues – making sure we have good processes and checks in place so that everyone stays safe.  I also plan for the long term future of our homes – thinking about investing in improvements and upgrades, looking after future environmental impact and dealing with any larger repair or void issues.

I manage a small team that helps with this work.  On an average day I will speak with lots of people about issues in our homes and on our estates, talk to contractors, agree specifications for work or set up contracts, make sure we are checking on work in progress and sorting out payments for suppliers.   It’s pretty glamorous!

I have only just started at PHA having spent the last ten years working for a Surrey local authority – so it is all new to me.   I wanted to work here because I like being able to work with people, to see the effect that our work has on their day to day lives and on our community.   I am excited to work as part of a much smaller team where everyone is focused on the same goals – great homes and services for our residents and a great place to live!
