The most important role of the Board is to make sure that we operate safely, avoiding doing harm to anyone and protecting life.   This is the starting point for any of our decisions, practices and actions.

The Board has a Chair and a Vice Chair, who also acts as our independent director.   The resident member also acts as our Member Responsible for Complaints.    There are two Board Committees - our Audit & Risk Committee and the Remuneration & People Committee.    Finally, we have a Tenant Engagement Panel made up of a number of residents including the resident Board Member.    Each of these committees/panels reports back to the Board and advises on specific areas of work.

The Board meets on a quarterly basis with an additional annual strategy meeting and various workshops and training events.
