A new set of legal powers to help tenants get important repairs done quickly has come into force. Known as Awaab's Law, these powers are named after Awaab Ishak, a 2 year old boy who tragically died from a lung condition caused by mould in his home. The law aims to make sure that no tenant has to experience the same issues and that landlords quickly fix any serious issues in your home.
