I am the person who makes sure that all of our property safety checks are carried out and any follow up work is done quickly.   I spend a lot of time organising appointments, working with our contractors and residents and checking, checking, checking!

I make sure all certification we have is correct and compliant, all annual services are booked in with our contractors ensuring our tenants homes are kept safe. And any repairs from them are escalated and completed in a timely and efficient manner.

I first came to PHA for a work placement which lasted for six months.   A few months after that ended, a vacancy arose and I applied for it - and got the job!  I really like working in a small team that cares about it's residents and the service that people get from us.   We take safety really seriously and that makes my job easier because everyone sees it as a priority to make sure checks are done and followed up.   The team is really friendly and we all get on well - so work is fun too!

We recently helped a resident who had no way to look after their cat while they were having medical treatment.   One of our team kindly took care of the cat - and we all enjoyed the photos!
