Money Matters

Our mission is to help our community to be a great place to live, learn, work and grow - with a shared sense of belonging.

We know that training and work are really important to people - both because of the opportunity to earn money but also for a general sense of connection and well being.

We offer a small grant scheme to help our residents (including any children) with issues related to education, training or employment. You might need this for things like:

• Travel costs to get to a course or work experience
• Course or training fees
• Clothes or travel costs for an interview
• Childcare costs to give you time for study
• Books or other course materials

We can also offer practical help with mentoring or connecting you with employment consultants to get you work ready.

Grants are a maximum of £350 per person and we have a limited fund each year - but don't let that put you off getting in touch! If there is something you need help with, let us know. If we can't help immediately, we will always try to connect you with someone who can.
